I don't know what I did to get so blessed today, but I was. I didn't help any old ladies across the road, or volunteer at the soup kitchen, or even nurse a stray bird back to health and release it back into the wild, but somehow karma was good to me today.
Hey, if karma wants to be kind to me, I will take it.
Today I feel vindicated to an extent. I don't like LSU very much. I don't like their coach at all, I think he is a pompous ass actually. And I think their players are overly-cocky and a little bit dirty. I know that sounds harsh, but I just don't like them and I think they get away with a lot of stuff because they are LSU.
Two weeks ago, LSU overtook USC for the number one spot in the nation. From that point on, as a fan, I had one goal. It was simple. It was to witness LSU losing. That is pretty much the only thing I cared about.
So that's exactly what happened today. Kentucky beat LSU 43-37 in 3 overtimes. And I am happier than a dog with two peters!
It was an awesome game, lemme tell ya. It's like I turned into a die-hard lifetime Kentucky fan just for today. Rooting against LSU will do that to a person. Anyway, the reason I feel any vindication at all with them losing, is because I have been calling LSU out all year long, to win a tough game on the road. So far, this year, they have not done this.
So LSU is finally exposed for the fraud they are. They've been playing at home practically all year, and the first time they go on the road, they get the beat down put on them. I was not surprised at all, quite frankly. It's hard to lose a game when you don't have to travel at all.
Anyway, it's all over for LSU, so I am going to relish this game for at least the next day or so. The only negative thing about seeing LSU lose today is that now I'm gonna have to tolerate "the ohio state university" (I refuse to capitalize that school's name) being ranked in the top two. Ugghhhh.
