Here are my favorite parts of one of the news stories that I read about it. After they tell you all about how "bad-ass" Jonathon Roy is and how he was gliding around fighting everthing he laid his eyes on, they say this.
"Jonathan Roy, 19, was near the bottom of the league's goaltending statistics in the regular season, with a 3-10 record in 22 games and a 3.96 GAA."
Ha! That's pretty sad, people. I guess all he is good at doing is non-sensical punching and skating.
Oh and then the kid said this about his dad:
"Patrick looked at me and told me to calm down," Jonathan Roy said. "I said to myself: 'He doesn't want me to go,' but when the linesman released me, I said to myself ... 'I'm going.' "
Wait a minute, did he just called his dad Patrick? By his first name? You know there are some issues in that household, if he's calling his dad by his first name in front of the press. Probably explains why he's such a jerk too.
