While I was checking the daily hotsheets, I came across this little gem (the video that is posted is a must-watch). There really isn't much to it, but I have a feeling that the Blazers are going to shift more and more into the national spotlight when Oden comes back to the active roster next season.
There's an idea floating around Portland of bringing in Baron Davis to join the Blazers for next season. Interesting. I don't think if I am fully behind the idea of bringing B. Diddy to Portland quite yet. But the guy does know how to play. He's a veteran too, and that is what Portland needs to most right now. I think that would put Portland among the top 6 teams in the Western Conference instantly. But whether they go out and get someone this coming off season, or wait until the next year to add a big name, there isn't much doubt that Portland is going to compete in the West very soon.
Any way you slice it, I think it's going to be a pret-ty good year Portland fans.
