The picture here pretty much sums up how the 4th quarter went for the Blazers. The Warriors won the basketball game and also won in number of tattoos, too.
Whenever the Blazers play the Warriors, it looks like a glorified streetball game. And Monta Ellis streetball'd the Blazers right out of the building, with his game high 39 points. Oakland has always been a tough place for the Blazers to go into and get a win, but they should have had this one. They led 97-91 with only 5 minutes left to play, but alas, not even little Wesley Matthews could keep the Blazers in this one.
I haven't kept count of the Blazers' 4th quarter collapses this season, but maybe I should start. If it wasn't for the many collapses that they've already had, we may be looking at this team in a totally different light. Last year it was hard to consider that they Blazers were just an average team. They had so much to hope for. They were on the rise. They even wanted all of us fans to rise with them.
A lot could still change, but as of now, it's sort of depressing to think that the Blazers are just your average NBA basketball team.
