The number one thing that never ever gets old in this world is vacation from work. It is always awesome and I will always welcome it into my life whenever it wants to pop on by.
Let's just say that Vacation doesn't need an invite to come over and party with me.
So my extra long 13 day vacation from work has officially commenced. And I don't really have a good reason for taking a week and a half off right before Christmas. It just felt right. And when things just feel right, it makes sense to just do them.
So there are lots of things I need to get done here in the next week or so. I need to sell back my textbooks, I need to both start and finish my Christmas shopping, I need to do my sisters Christmas shopping (because I guess I will "have the spare time and she won't"), I need to meet with my college counselor to discuss the classes I'm going to be taking and I'll probably do a little bit of babysitting of my nephew.

I am now officially unemployed. As of earlier this evening, I no longer work for Morgan Financial, Inc.
Yep, that's right folks, as of the new year (not sure the exact date), I will no longer be employed by Morgan Financial. But the announcement was made today at work. And I won't go into tons of detail here for you, but it wasn't like I was fired for being a punk or anything like that. The mortgage business will rip your heart out though. And that is what it has done.
It's actually 3:33 am as I am writing this (or should I say finishing) this post, so I am going to try to get some much needed sleep. As for being without work, officially, I haven't begun to ponder what life is going to be like without the 9-5 daily grind.
