Never thought I would say this, but being unemployed is really frickin boring. A week ago, I thought this unemployed thing was going to be my time to shine, at least for a couple months or so. But it isn't exactly playing out that way.So I have been thinking of how I can take this blog to the next level, now that I have some spare time. And I have some good ideas so far. As you've probably noticed, we have a new banner up for the blog. Pretty fancy huh? Yeah, we're that classy here at The Life of Drew.
But I do have some good ideas for the new year. So stay tuned for that. Maybe I will start getting off my lazy ass and blogging more. We'll see about that.
Like how about this. This was an idea I had. I could start live-blogging Live with Regis and Kelly. Good enough idea. But then I thought it through. Every post would be like this, I think.11:03 am: Dang, Kelly Ripa is so hot, but kind of annoying.
11:06 am: Shoot, Kelly Ripa is so hot, but really annoying.
11:10 am: Kelly Ripa. Very hot and very annoying.
11:15 am: Man, she is so hot. Man, she is so annoying.
11:17 am: I really wish she would stop talking.
11:22 am: But she is really smokin hot.
I mean, you get the picture right? Even I know that kind of thing would get kind of old after about three posts. So I'm gonna have to think of something else to bring to you, my loyal readers. But I'll get right on it.
But anyway, yeah this not-going-to-work every day is killin me. Luckily, in January I will have classes at school to attend and to take up some of my time. Oh and later today I will have all 32 college bowl picks for you, so come back for that cuz you know you want it.
(I thought this was kind of interesting: When I first googled the word 'unemployment' for the last few posts, that photo of the bum on the street up there, is one of the first pictures that came up. A little something to keep these next couples months in the right perspective, for sure.)
