Fiiiiight: Old School NBA Scuffle

This video is pretty sweet.  Larry Bird goes after Bill Laimbeer after Laimbeer clotheslines Bird.  Pretty cheap stuff on the part of Laimbeer.  If I was Bird, I would have made sure I punched Laimbeer squarely in the face before we both got ejected.  But throwing the ball at him is just as cool.  And pretty freakin' funny too.

I barely remember Bill Laimbeer when he was playing, but is there anyone who was as big of a jerk as he was?  I don't think there is.  At least when talking about on-the-court behavior.  He really wasn't good at anything except cheap shots.  Oh and flopping.  If you were to ask Bill Laimbeer what his career highlights were, what would he say?  Maybe something like this.

1. Cheap shots as often as possible.
2. Flopping as often as possible.  (He practically invented flopping in the NBA.)
3. Coaching Detroit Shock to two WNBA titles.  Count em folks, two!

You must respect those WNBA titles dammit.  Okay, so he was also part of 4 championship teams with the Detroit Pistons, but c'mon, do you think he really did much for those teams back then?  I would say Isiah Thomas, Joe Dumars, John Salley, and Dennis Rodman all had more to do with those titles, but that's just me.
