Apparently it's not official quite yet, but CC Sabathia has been dealt to...Milwaukee? That's a bit of a surprise. I didn't expect the Brewers to actually make this big of a deal. I heard the rumors, but didn't believe them. I figured it would have been Boston, the Cubs, or maybe even the Dodgers to make a deal to land Sabathia. But it's definitely going to solidify Milwaukee's chances of winning the NL wild card bid, and maybe even make the division race with the Cubbies a little tighter. One question: If Sabathia turned down a 4 yr, $72 million dollar extension with Cleveland, how in the sam hell are the Brewers going to be able to pay him anything much more than that? Milwaukee hasn't exactly been a very big spender in the world of baseball, like, ever.
