Andre Miller To New Jersey?

The latest rumors have Andre Miller leaving town to team up with his former teammate Carmelo Anthony in New Jersey.

Marc Spears of Yahoo! Sports writes, "The Nets have continued talks with the Portland Trail Blazers and Denver Nuggets about the possibility of adding Miller in a multi team trade that would land them Anthony, league sources told Yahoo! Sports. Anthony and Miller were teammates in Denver from 2003-06 and played well together."

Denver would get Derrick Favors, Troy Murphy and a couple of 1st round draft picks from New Jersey in the rumored deal.  The Blazers would ship Miller to the Nets and in return get point guard Devin Harris, who has been on the Blazers' wish list for quite some time now. 

Spears then said that the roadblock to this deal going down is that the greedy little Nuggets want Nic Batum from Portland.

Annnnnnnnnnnnd screw the Nuggets.  I loved this rumor until I heard that last bit.  Now trading away Miller and getting Devin Harris back in return, no other strings attached, would have been a steal.  But the Batum thing kind of screws that up.  The Blazers would be pretty foolish to send Nic Batum off in a trade to a division rival.  Shipping him to the Eastern Conference is ideal, and even shipping Nic to New Orleans wouldn't be very bad at all.

But they can't give him up to the Nuggets.  No way.  Plus don't they have a tattoo minimum on the Nuggets.  Like, you have to have at least 11 tats or something like that?  Or at least a full arm sleeve.  Nic would have to get some ink before we could ship him off to the Nuggets.
