Take that Utah Jazz organization! That that Jerry Sloan! You thought we sucked, but ha! We fooled you, didn't we?!?
I didn't catch this game at all, had to work real late tonight. But I just watched the highlights. I have to be honest, I thought the Blazers were going to get run out of the gym in this game. I really did. But to my pleasant surprise, they did not.
It looks like LaMarcus was the man again, scoring 26 points and grabbing 7 boards. Wesley gently stuck it to his former team by having a good 2nd half, after an awful 1st half. Also, it looks like Rudy contributed pretty well too.
I love winning in Salt Lake City. I always have. We don't win there very much at all. Ever since I can remember, the Utah Jazz have been one of the Blazers most-hated rivals...if not the most. The only other team in my 23 plus years of watching games that has come close are the Lakers. But I don't think I hated anyone more as a kid, than Karl Malone. That guy was the biggest jerk and I couldn't stand him. Utah was and always has been a hard place to play for Portland. So whenever we can steal a game there it's like music to my ears.
So take that Deron Williams. You scored 31 points. Oooooooooh. But you still lost. Ha! And shave that awful beard that you have man. It's just gross. And you know what? My spell-checker just told you that you don't even know how to spell your own name, so THERE! Spell your name right dude!
So anyway, just when you start settling down about the Blazers and inching closer to accepting their mediocrity, they go and do something like this! And it is great. Even just for a night.
