The Blazers beat the Jazz for the second time in four days. Blazers are now 17-16 on the year, and by my calculation, seven games behind where they were at this point last season, in the win column.
Since BRoy has been out, Aldridge and Wesley Matthews have picked up the scoring load. This game, it was Wesley's turn to star, and he did, with 30 points. LaMarcus poured in 27 points and Marcus Camby took care of all the rebounding by grabbing 10 boards in the first half, and 20 for the game.
Deron Williams and his weird hair and beard (it looks painted on, what can I say?) was the star of the game for Utah and the only reason they stayed close during the game.
It was nice to see the Blazers play a complete team game with everyone contributing a little bit of what they do best.
While living in Utah for a brief period of time, I once made my own uncle so pissed off at me for trash-talking about his beloved Utah Jazz, that he didn't talk to me for like 2 whole days. And if he would have been sitting with me watching this game last night, I would have to tried to make him cry. I LOVE when we beat the Jazz.
