Portland 108, LA Clippers 93

Where was Blake Griffin for this one?  Why didn't the so-called "Blake Show" come flying in to the rescue and save the Clippers from another road loss last night?  Did I miss something?  Ohhhhhhh yeah, it's because he's not the best player in NBA history like everyone is saying he is.  Crazy, huh?  How about that.

That said, this game started off looking like a complete dumpster fire.  The Clippers came out strong from the jump and built a nice little lead of 16-2.  But the Blazers came to their senses and were able to close the gap by the end of the first quarter to only four points.

Portland pretty much controlled this one from the 2nd quarter on.  You can pretty much count on LaMarcus Aldridge to put up about 25 points and 8-9 rebounds a night.  He had 28 points and 8 rebounds last night.  Wesley Matthews also had 28 points on the night.

As for the Clippers, Blake Griffin did have 20 points and 18 boards (which I admit, is still quite impressive), but all in all, he wasn't that much of a factor.  Eric Gordon was the one Clipper keeping them in the game for the majority of the night.  He couldn't miss from downtown and tallied 35 points in all.
