It was a pretty good day today. Didn't leave the house all day and got to sit down and watch most of both playoff games today. Nevermind I was way off picking the Packer game. Got pretty close on the New England score, so I'll take it.
It's late, and I'm watching The Kingdom as I type this up, so I'll make these picks short. I'm not as invested in what happens in tomorrow's games, but there should still be some great football games. After all, it's not everyday that you get to watch both Manning brothers in playoff games in the same day. (By the way Eli, way to go on gettin the ladies my man. Nice work.)
In the 1 pm matchup tomorrow, we have Indianapolis playing host to the San Diego Chargers. It's going to be fun to see which San Diego team shows up to play. Last time these two teams plated, Peyton Manning uncharacteristically threw 6 interceptions. I don't think anything like that is happening this time.
I can't stand Phillip Rivers personally. He's up there at a douchebag status, if you ask me. I think he "writes a lot of checks with his mouth that his a%# can't cash," as they say on the street. I just think that he isn't as good as how big he talks. I also think that the Chargers talk too much. If they had a tournament of whiny ass teams, the Chargers would win it hands down.
The Colts, on the other hand, are scary. As a Patriots fan, the possibility of playing Indy is already starting to make my blood pressure a little higher. Anyway, I'm picking the Colts to dominate in this game. Indy wins this one 38-24.
The last of the weekend games has the Cowboys playing the New York football Giants. This is going to be the third time these two teams meet and play. I really hope to see Jessica Simpson roaming the sidelines in this game, just so her and Tony can stick it to all the critics that have been crying about how Jessica is a big distraction! People, if anything, she's probably boosted Romo's confidence seven-fold! Think about it.
The Giants are playing very well right now and the Cowboys are not. But I'm not so sure that means that the Cowboys are going to automatically lose this game. I thought that about the Seahawks-Packers game today and I was very wrong.
So I'm going with the favorite in this game, and the team that is supposed to win. Everyone likes an upset, especially in this game, but I just don't see it happening tomorrow for the Giants.
I think Dallas wins this game 28-24, in a close game.
