A Word About Esquire's Hot Chick Bracket

My personal national champion

Who doesn't love a good hot chick bracket?  I certainly love them.  I have to admit that I've paid more attention to Esquire's hot chick bracket than I have to my own basketball-related bracket that I filled out.  It didn't help that my basketball bracket went all to hell after the 2nd round.  Thanks a lot, Butler and VCU, for that.

So over at Esquire.com, they've narrowed the list down to the Elite 8.  The matchups are (1) Brooklyn Decker vs. (7) Adriana Lima, (10) Ines Sainz vs. (4) Erin Andrews, (10) Megan Fox vs. (4) Ashley Greene, and (8) Glee Girls vs. (10) Katrina Bowden. 

As of today, the voting for the Elite 8 has closed, and the Final Four will be revealed tomorrow.  From the last vote totals I saw before the polls closed, the Final Four is going to be Brooklyn Decker vs. Erin Andrews and Megan Fox vs. Katrina Bowden.
 

There are a couple things that I think are nuts about the way the voting has panned out.  Now don't get me wrong here, all these ladies are insanely beautiful and very sexy, to say the least.  But I noticed a couple of things that caused me to wonder just a bit.  So please humor me here for a minute.

• They very first number one seed that has been eliminated was Sofia Vergara.  She won her first round matchup, but was taken out by the Glee Girls (Leah Michelle and that other blonde one) in the next round.  Folks, this is simply absurd.  I mean are you kidding me?!?  Who the hell voted on this one?  A bunch of 13 year old girls?!?  Rediculous.

• I'm sure that Katrina Bowden is a really nice girl, but there is no way on God's green Earth that she is sexier than Kim Kardashian.  She ousted Kardashian in the 2nd round by a score of 53% to 47%.  Say what you want about the best looking Kardashian sister, but she is second to none in looks and sex appeal.
• Up until yesterday, Ines Sainz was putting the beat down on Erin Andrews.  SI.com blogger Jimmy Traina alerted his readers that Andrews (a Jimmy Traina favorite) was getting crushed, and it appears as though his readers saved Andrews in the voting.  Order has been restored, thankfully, because there is no way Ines Sainz can even hold a candle to Erin Andrews.
• Sarah Shahi, who was a 12 seed in this tourney, is my new current celebrity crush, and should have gone much farther.  But she lost to the Glee chicks and we know why they're winning anything at all in this contest....it's those 13 year old girls, dammit.

So that is about all I have to complain about, but these online hot chick brackets never cease to amaze me.  I'm not dumb enough to think that every dude out there has the same exact taste in women as I do, but some of these things should be pretty obvious.

My personal Elite 8 were Brooklyn Decker, Selita Ebanks, Erin Andrews, Arianny Celeste (very underrated), Ashley Greene, Penelope Cruz, Sarah Shahi and Kim Kardashian.  My Final Four were Brooklyn Decker, Erin Andrews, Ashley Greene and Kim Kardashian.  I had Brooklyn Decker vs. Kim Kardashian for my title game with Kim Kardashian winning it all.
